Go on an adventure to the South Carolina mountains, to the outdoors, or
right in your classroom! We provide you, your students, and even parents,
too, with dynamic opportunities to explore the fascinating natural world.
Discover fun ways to learn science, integrate curriculum and stimulate
minds.
- Scientist In Residence
-
This is a great, new approach for teachers to learn how to do
science by observing and participating with their students. This week
long experience includes a teacher workshop and up to five student
programs per day. This is the best way to learn how to create an
innovative, interdisciplinary science program for your school.
- Animal Encounters
-
Looking for a novel focus for a school assembly, Science Fun
Day or PTA meeting? We'll bring live animals to your event to
illustrate classification, adaptation, behavior and natural history.
- Mountain Bridge
-
The Mountain Bridge Natural Science Program provides a one, two
or three day opportunity to explore the South Carolina Mountains.
Students, teachers and chaperones experience the unique ecosystems and
culture of the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, a place of exceptional
geology, geography and natural beauty.
- Teacher Workshops
-
We offer several workshops to increase science teaching
knowledge and skills. Check our current topics.
